Off-plan projects in Palm Jebel Ali are absent from this page for a straightforward reason: the island is in its construction phase, and what has sold so far went out in controlled releases from the master developer rather than into the open off-plan market.
The island lies off the south-western coast, beyond Dubai Marina and the Jebel Ali port area, and it is substantially larger than the palm that made the format famous. Launched in the early 2000s, halted after the financial crisis and revived with a new master plan, it spreads housing across a series of fronds with hotel and beach frontage between them. Reclamation and infrastructure are the visible work at this stage.
The product released so far has been low-rise: beachfront villa collections priced at the top of the Dubai market and allocated in limited batches. Apartment districts appear in the plan but have not been brought to market. For a buyer that means the usual off-plan mechanics, public launches, floor plans and a choice of buildings, do not yet apply to this address.
