Elo Damac is the first pair of apartment towers Damac has completed inside DAMAC Hills 2, and it hands over at the end of 2026. Two 14-storey buildings, 1 and 2-bedroom layouts, on the southern edge of Dubai where the city stops and the desert starts. Both of those facts, the timing and the geography, decide whether this suits a particular buyer.
Almost every description of this part of Dubai frames the distance as a price a buyer pays. It is worth turning that around, because what sits on the doorstep here does not exist anywhere closer in. Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, the largest protected area in the emirate, begins a short drive away, with the Al Qudra lakes, the long cycling track and open desert riding country beyond it. People move to this corner of the city specifically for that, and they do not consider themselves to have settled for anything.
The honest half of the sentence is that everything urban is far. Downtown is over 26 km, Dubai International past 30, and Al Maktoum, despite being the airport of the southern expansion, is still 25 km off. This is not a location that becomes convenient later. It is a location that is quiet, green at the edges, and comprehensively car-dependent, and the buyer who thrives here already knows that about themselves.
DAMAC Hills 2 was built as townhouses and villas, so the ELO towers introduce a format the community did not previously have. The 1-bedroom plans measure between roughly 530 and 646 sq ft, with 2-bedroom layouts spanning about 832 to 1,078 sq ft, which are compact figures by any measure and deliberately so. An apartment here costs a fraction of a house in the same community while giving access to the same wave pool, sports zones and green areas.
That opens the community to buyers and tenants a townhouse never reached: single professionals, couples without children yet, people who want the amenities and the space around them without the maintenance of a garden. The entry ticket also clears the AED 750,000 threshold that carries a UAE residency visa, which for an international buyer is often the actual reason the smallest unit gets chosen over a larger one.
Delivery in the final quarter of 2026 puts this building close to finished, which removes most of what an off-plan buyer normally worries about. The structure exists, the specification can be seen rather than imagined, and the gap between signing and either letting the apartment or moving into it is short. Damac has completed more than 200 projects since 2002, so the question here was never whether the towers would be built.
The schedule leaves 30% falling at handover, meaning the remaining commitment is both defined and imminent rather than spread across years. Anyone who would rather have the longer runway can look at Elo 2 and 3, the same format in the same community delivering in mid-2027, where more of the price is still ahead. Gorilla Real Estate Dubai can confirm what remains unsold in this first pair, since at this stage of a project the choice of unit narrows quickly.
